Validity of guarantee

With the introduction of Uniform Rules for Documentary Guarantee or URDG 758, the rules for Documentary Guarantee seem to be popular again. It can be imagined from the increasing number of questions that have popped up in recent days. Documentary Guarantee Forum is an effort to develop a platform to discuss these questions.

Hi Experts

Under URDG, is it possible to issue guarantee with starting date of guarantee is prior/beyond of the issuance date of guarantee itself

Hi Pal,

art 4 seems to prohibit a starting date prior of the issuance date, but may be it covers a ransaction already done.

as I understand, it seems as issuance of backed date. It used to be issued exceptionally such that but now it's impossible to do it
