regarding fight back of discrepancy

the issuing bank check the document ans send an acceptance msg along with the discrepancies within 5 banking days. On maturity date, ie 60 days sight, payment has been remitted to the ben bank deducting discrepancy fee and the file has been closed. But after a week, the bene bank fight back with the discrepancy quoted and claim to remit the dis fee with the issuing bank. My concern is, is there any time frame to fight back for discrepancy quoted? Does Isbp or ucp govern this?

Hi Pal,

I think that by acceptance the l/c was closed, remaing the undertaking of the issuing bank to effect payment. &0 days are a too long period to fight back!
