Hi Pal,

a credit requires an invoice quoting LCA no. 123456 , the same credit requires B/L quoting LCA no.
Presented invoice quoting LCA no. 123456 and B/l quoting LCA no: 123654.
This is an oversight, a misspelling, but, in case of refutal may presenting bank state that document checker may be not aware of the meaning of LCA and restrict verification only that the datum LCA
is followed by a number?
Thanks to members that will answer to my question.
Ciao

valid discrepancy , numbers not consider under misspelling ,
LCA NUMBER like any required in the L/C , like PO number
AND LCA NUMBER should consist with other documents

any comments appreciated

100 % valid discrepancy. Here the checker need not know the meaning of LCA. Here said LCA no. So, All the documents must show the same LCA no. as LC required presented documents
