LC 30days from Bill of lading-I want to be sure I understand this very well:
The seller allows the buyer 3o days from the BOL date to make payment to their bankers?
The BOL date here is the date the goods are taken on board the ship/carrier and NOT when the ship sets off from port of origin? Am I right?

Hi,
"X days after B/L date" means "X days after shipment date" as per ISBP, however, %90 of applicants and beneficiaries not know this and unnecessarily insist on writing "...B/L date" i/o "shipment date" and they often request amendment for this.
