Hi,
I need your answer for this subject please:
are fields 42a and 42p obligatory on the MT 700 AVAILABLE BY NEGOCIATION, or if they are missing we conclude that it is AT SIGHT? is there on UCP600 AN ARTICLE to confirm this.

fields you indicated are optional, but must be worded in the way that beneficiary's bank may act accordingly.
See Book 7 by Swift, now I thinl only on line.

If 42A and 42P are missing, it is probably a sight payment L/C available by negoation but not requiring a draft. Sometimes a sight draft is required but it is not a must.
See field 78 also to ensure the payment term.
