Hello,
For my understanding if we have a l/c that is confirmed and the documents were presented to the bank just within the presentation period of 21 days let's says on the 18th day but thereafter the bank noticed a discrepancy with the original b/l's, I would like to know if the l/c would be still be confirmed if we had the original b/l's reissued and again presented to the bank after the 21 days presenting period has expired?
Or would this now be an unconfirmed l/c considering we failed to present the correct complaint documents within the 21 days presentation period that is showing under point 48.
Please let me know.
Regards
Point 48: 21 days presentation period, confirmed l/c

Hi Pal,
if you may correct documents within the presentation period(usually 21 days) ok, otherwise
credit will be no more valid for both confirming bank and issuing bank. In case confirming bank
decided to consider presentation in time, lc will remain ok-
Other comments appreciated

revised documents must arrive at confirming bank within presentation period otherwise the presentation is found to be discrepant and confirmation will become null n void.
