insurance document

Post by picant » Thu May 07, 2020 8:10 pm

Hi friends,

is it acceptable a certificate of insurance stating cover in numbers but omitting to indicate
in words the amount in the specific box/space.
Description of goods same as invoice.
Prompt comments appreciated

Hi,

As UCP 600 provisions do not require a stipulation of the amount of insurance coverage in words and considering that paragraph A 17 of ISBP 745 states that the fact that a document has a box does not mean that such box need to be completed I think that the document is not discrepant.

Other comments are appreciated.

Kind regards,
Ozoda
