UCP ARTICLE 2
Issuing bank means the bank that issues a credit at the request of an applicant or on its own behalf.

Plz can you clarify me 'or on it's own behalf' mentioned in above article?

Hi Pal,

a bank may be the l/c applicant, in UCP 400 was forbidden .
