discrepancies on insurance policy

Dear Experts

I have a question on insurance document as below.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

L/C called for " MARINE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE/POLICY "
BILL OF LADING DATE(SHIPPED ON BOARD DATE):21-08-2020
ASSURED:ABC LTD (BENEFICIARY)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The presented insurance document shown that insurance policy no: 789123, policy date 21-08-2020 and shipped on board date on 21-08-2020, however the assured ABC ltd (beneficiary) has signed as below

xxx(signature of ABC LTD) DATED 04-SEP-2020
------------
Insurance policy is not valid unless countersigned by assured/insurance company

INSURANCE DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE ISSUED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT DATE OR ON DATE
OR SHOULD QUOTE THE POLICY EFFECTIVE DATE FROM .....DATE AS PER THE ISBP ARTICLE K10.

As per above mentioned scenario:
1. WHICH DATE SHOULD I PREFER INSURANCE POLICY ISSUED DATE 21-08-20 OR SIGNING DATE OF COUNTERSIGNED AS 04-09-20?
2. shall i quote the discrepancies"insurance policy dated after the shipment date"?

for your expert opinion please.

BEST REGARDS

Hi Pal,

I think that ISBP 745 K11 states that your insurance policy is compliant.
Other comments appreciated.
