Dear experts

I have a case to raise:

Credit required for:
- Manufacturer Cert certifying that the products are produced not more than 6 months upto the export date.

Presented docs with Manufacturer Cert certifying that "the products are produced not more than 5 months upto the export date"
Other documents are complied

The IB then refused to honour stated that Manufacturer Cert is not made as per L/C

Was the IB's discrepancy acceptable?

Thank you

Hi Pal,

IMHO, the certificate is ok, I think that the products were produced in the period required.
Other comments appreciated
Ciao

The certification must state that goods has been produced in a timeframe not exceeding 6 months before the exporting date. Therefore any period between the 6th month before shipment and the export date is considered to comply with L/C requirement. The 5th month before shipment date are within such allowed timeframe.
