I have one inquiry... the LC partial shipment is allowed and there tolerance + - 1% and the documents amount and quantity presented less 1 PCT... is it discrepancy?

Hi Pal,

I think that it may be accepted if the l/c description states "total" quantity, however consult opinion R896/TA872.

Dear Ali,

since partial shipment is allowed in LC, there is no scope for valid discrepancy.
