Insurance policy in negotiable form blank endorsed

Good day to you all.
I have received a letter of credit that requires to submit an insurance policy in negotiable form blank endorsed. Should I ask the insurance company to issue it "to the order of xxx company" and sign the back page? I am familiar with endorsing the transport document, but it is the first time I am asked for negotiable insurance policy. All your answers and comments would be greatly appreciated.
