B/L Shows Container Number As Shipping Mark

Dear Sir,

As per ISBP, a transport document may show container number as shipping mark while document show detail shipping mark. If the LC indicates a detail shipping mark, does the same rule apply?

if LC asks for detailed shipping marks, documents must show the same in detail. any additional detail not conflicting is also acceptable but at least the detail asked in LC must be shown
