there is no requirement for a signature to be handwritten. if a stamp shows a signature, its acceptable.

I agree with Jmitra and also want to complete this matter in my view.
From the question of Nayanrshah, it seems you doubt of the space for a signature.
Referring to ISBP 681 paragraph 38, the space for a signature does not necessarily means that such space must be completed with a signature"
There is no requirement that a signature MUST be made on particular wheres of Docs on UCP 600. So it's okie .

Here Stamp at one corner of BL and signed at other corner (say 10 cm far)

I suppose it is a discrepancy for not proper endorsement.
