cdcs 2009

Post by rashidtc » Thu Apr 16, 2009 9:43 pm

Just finished the CDCS exam. For three hours, brain was stretched to its limits, both the memory and analytical part of it. As an auditor, CDCS exam was a real challenge for me. And the toughness of exam proved why it is so respected. However, the in basket and simulation exercise was tough nut to crack for me. For last two days i was trying my best to get the answers to the tests 4, 5 and 6 mentioned in this forum, but in vain. Once outside the exam hall, almost all of them were commenting that the exam was really tough this time. For me, it is a fifty fifty chance.

Regards,
Rashid

Hi Pal,

the exam was really tough. but only in time context. have you seen Mr.Bean's exam. i was just Trimble like that at the last as there was too many question to answer within a short time. the LCs which were not in swift format, killed most of the time as i struggled to find the info. i am really worried about the simulation test.

thanks to all for helping me going through this

Hi
.
The Exam was tough in time concept. Only one question of 160% of Insurance on transferable LC goods ,takes my 10 minutes(as per me the result should 160% and 187.5%,but answer were 160-160%). So I have to sacrifice 10 minutes in simulation test.
.
Which may effect my result.
.
Better luck to all of us.
.

Dear Friends,
Hope you all are doing well. Finally many of us have faced the long waited CDCS exam. I wish all of you good luck and great success. Please do share your success with us. :)

By the way, you can visit this site by using .org suffix now. that is www.besttradesolution.org. The .com is also working. I added this domain for two reasons; to avoid server vulnerability and to promise that this is a non-business site, for which .org fits best.

Thanks and Regards

Hi
.
The result should 160% and 187.5%, but answer were 160-160% .
.
My answer was not match with options provided by them,so I had waste 10 minutes in this question to recheck calculations at the cost of Simulation test.
.
I had representated to ICC on email.

Absolutely timing is the key factor of success in every examination. But I think even give me half an hour more, the end result may not be too significant.

As per me the result should 160% and 150%,this is a quite simple problem .You may calculate the insurance coverage for each item. The divided it by the total valueof each item. For item A,120000/75000=160%,for item B,30000/20000=150%
