Hello All:
We have a shipment of 6 nos. buildozers to be shipped to the destination country by RoRo... BL showing the Gross weight of each unit and the total gross weight of all 6 units. But the applicant does not want us to mention the Measurement (CBM) details of each unit as well as the total CBM in the BL.
If the BL does not show the volume (CBM), will this create any discrepancy in the LC documents?
CBM (measurement/volume) is a mandatory requirement to be mention in the BL as per UCP or ISBP.
Your comments in this regard is highly appreciated.
Thanks and regards

Re: MEASUREMENT (CBM) OF GOODS IN THE BILL OF LADING
Hi Pal,
unless required by the doc.credit terms, CBM notation on bill of lading is not necessary.
If so reported in some other document must not be in conflict.
Other comments appreciated
