Dear Experts,

I need your assistance,

Can you please explain the part of FCA Incoterm 2020 stating that "when the optional mechanism of on-board notation is adopted, the dates of delivery inland and loading on board will necessarily be different, which may create difficulties for the seller under a letter of credit" .

How come that these dates are different? Can you please elaborate to help me better understand what this is all about...
